nalareksa 0.4: riverize [installation]

Installed during residency period in Dislocate09 – Mediations of Locality, October – November 2009 in Tokyo, Japan.

During 40 days residency in Tokyo, nalareksa was displayed in a group exhibition alongside with the works from other Artists in Residency. The Artists are:

  3. Preeyachanok Ketsuwan (Thailand)

nalareksa 0.3: acidic-tive [installation]

INSTALLED ON: M.A.R.I.N. Ecolocated: Littoral Lives Exhibition for International Symposeum of Electronic Arts (ISEA) 2009, Belfast, UK.


“Nalareksa 0.3: Acidic-tive” installation was part of M.A.R.I.N. Ecolocated: Littoral Lives exhibition for ISEA2009. The instruments for the first time was used to analyze salt water sample taken from Belfast harbor where M.A.R.I.N catamaran was docked during its’ participation in ISEA2009. For the installation several sensors were developed on the instruments to create sounds effects from the main sound generator which is the physical impact of air and water.

Calculation in solving Civil Engineer problems in the past was manually processed using ruler and traditional counting instruments. This working method often took a large amount of time and energy for an engineer. With advance computer technology development, softwares are created as a tool for an engineer to solve from simple to delicate calculations. By using softwares, an engineer able to solve Civil Engineer problems with better time efficiency and higher precisions in the calculation process.
